Foster Swift Collins & Smith P.C. is seeking a detail-driven and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting Team. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely processing of client payments.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Payment Processing:
Accurately and efficiently post various forms of incoming payments (cash, checks, credit cards, EFTs, ACH, and wires) to client accounts and invoices. Prepare and process daily bank deposits while ensuring alignment with internal accounting records.
Payment Reconciliation & Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies such as overpayments, underpayments, or unapplied funds to maintain financial accuracy and client confidence.
Cross-Functional Accounting Support:
Serve as a reliable backup for multiple daily accounting operations, including:

Requirements
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting role preferred.
