Primary Responsibilities Process and organize design, engineering, shop, field, and erection drawings for release to fabrication and field teams. Maintain accurate digital files (approvals, releases, revisions, as-builts, superseded, voided) and ensure the latest drawings are clearly labeled, controlled, and accessible to all operations. Distribute drawing updates, ABMs, CNC/CAM files, and documentation to the appropriate teams, ensuring accurate and timely communication across all operations. Support fabrication, processing, purchasing, quality, and safety by ensuring they receive complete and accurate information aligned with the most current revisions. Assist in monitoring drawing-driven deadlines for engineering updates, fabrication releases, material needs, and sequencing priorities. Identify inefficiencies in how drawings and documents flow through the organization and recommend improvements to workflows, checklists, digital processes, and communication paths. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity through automation, improved document routing, simplification, or standardization. Establish daily habits using AI-based tools (ex: automation aids, data-checking tools, document organization prompts) to streamline repetitive tasks, strengthen analysis, and improve decision-making. Seek ongoing professional development to expand technical knowledge, documentation skills, digital workflow capabilities, and continuous improvement competencies. Welcome feedback and incorporate observations from team reviews, using constructive criticism as fuel for improvement. Champion innovation by introducing new ideas, technologies, or approaches to strengthen drawing control, document accuracy, and operational flow.
