Job Purpose & Scope Performs complex reviews of high-risk activity leveraging internal and external data sources to detect and mitigate fraud loss for stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Knowledge of banking laws and regulations. + Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing with all levels of management and staff. + Ability to handle moderately complex situations requiring analysis or research while using independent judgement. + Ability to work under general supervision. + Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in decision making and maintain confidentiality. + Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives. + Ability to apply logic, interpret documents, and demonstrate ability to comply with procedures. + Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team environment. + Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills. + Ability to read and analyze data for suspicious behavior. + Ability to maintain attention to detail. + Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills and meet deadlines in a timely manner. + Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. + Ability to work extended hours. + Skill in using a computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic Qualifications + Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience, required. + One (1) or more years of work experience in fraud detection and/or Bank Secrecy Act reporting, required. + One (1) or more years of prior financial institution work experience required.
