Plumbing Superintendent

Position Overview
The Plumbing Superintendent will oversee and manage plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role is critical in coordinating plumbing installations, managing teams, and ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise plumbing installations and repairs on construction sites.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Manage and train plumbing crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prepare and review project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Ensure that materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on time for project needs.
• Maintain documentation of all plumbing work, including permits, inspections, and approvals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Project management experience in plumbing or related field.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA 30 safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
