Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time RDA - Registered Dental Assistant position in a Fremont General dental office. This office is looking for 3 or 4 days of the week with the available schedule of Monday to Thursday with the hours of 7 to 4 pr 8 to 5. They are fairly flexible with this schedule. The software for this office is Digital and Eaglesoft. We are a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Benefits included.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays

-Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods

-Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs

-Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

Qualifications

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
